Answers

  1. Do I have to pay a monthly maintenance fee to the cemetery plot?

No. A one-time Perpetual Care fee is charged at the time you purchase a gravesite burial space, mausoleum crypt, or columbarium niche (for cremation). The money is placed in a special restricted fund and the proceeds are used to cover future maintenance costs throughout the cemetery.

  4. What happens if I buy cemetery property here in advance, and then later move to another area?

Many cemeteries now belong to credit exchange programs which allow for a dollar-for-dollar transfer of services and merchandise between participating cemeteries. Our cemetery participates in the International Cemetery and Funeral Association's Lot Exchange Program. So you can go ahead and plan with us, knowing that if circumstances change, your pre-arrangements can be transferred elsewhere.
